What is Live IMPEX?

Live IMPEX is a web-based, on-demand customs management solution. It manages all the customs clearing operations. With Live IMPEX you can submit Bills of Entry and Shipping Bills online as well as print manual documents. It also facilitates the generation of all standard forms, reports and letters.

How do I subscribe to Live Impex?

You can choose from the various plans, as per your business needs. For subscription please register with us. Your account will be activated after the payment has been duly processed.

Can I use it from the office as well as from home?

Live IMPEX is web based solution that can be used from anywhere and at anytime with a web browser.

What are the charges?

You can select a plan that is suitable for your business. For enquiry related to pricing of the various plans please click here.

How many Branches can I create?

You can create any number of branches depending on the type of plan chosen. More branches can be added as and when required on payment of the charges applicable.

How many users can I add?

You can create any number of users depending on the type of plan chosen. More users can be added as and when required on payment of the charges applicable.

Is my data secured?

The data is protected with an authorization process and can only be accessed through a secure login by authorized users.

What happens to my data if I do not renew my subscription?

The data will remain for six months after the end of the subscription period and will then be subsequently deleted if you do not renew the account within the stipulated period.

Can I file Bills of entry and Shipping bills online?

Live IMPEX is a complete customs management solution with which you can file the documents online via ICEGATE.

What about the messages received from ICEGATE?

All the messages can be read back into the system using ICEGATE Communicator, a unique ICEGATE message managing tool. Messages can also be printed or emailed.

Will I be able to print manual documents?

Live IMPEX facilitates the printing of manual Bills of Entry, Shipping Bills, EDI Annexure, Checklist and other standard forms.

What will be the frequency of software & regulations updates?

Live IMPEX is always updated.

Will I be able to exchange data with Live IMPEX

Live IMPEX allows seamless interchange of data for Live IMPEX, Live IMPEX PRO and Logi-Sys users. Data can be exchanged using the SJD format available in Live IMPEX, Live IMPEX PRO and Logi-Sys.

How do I provide the tracking facility to my customers?

Live IMPEX has an inbuilt online tracking system. Tracking can be enabled for your customers using the Universal Consignment Tracker with the help of the Live IMPEX reference number.

Will I be able to provide Daily Status Reports (DSR) to my clients?

Live IMPEX allows the Daily Status Report to be emailed directly from the system.

Can I keep my customers updated?

Live IMPEX has an inbuilt alerts and notification system. Hence clients can be continuously updated using SMS and emails.

Does Live Impex handle clearing of all modes of transport?

Live IMPEX processes clearing for all modes of transports like Air, Sea, and Land consignments.

Are the various EXIM schemes covered?

Live IMPEX is a comprehensive solution which covers all the EXIM schemes.

Will training be provided for users?

Live IMPEX is plug-n-play solution which is very simple to use, thus it does not require any training. However, if necessary you can avail of paid training sessions.

What kind of after sales service will be provided?

Online support will be provided to resolve any issues that crop up. Currently the service is provided from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm, but it will be provided 24 hours a day in the near future.
